In the fall of 1813, an important battle took place in Canada. The Americans attempted to take the city of Montréal, but on October 26, they fought 300 Canadian soldiers, who won the battle, thus stopping the invasion attempts by our neighbours. This battle took place here, on the banks of the Châteauguay River. In the interpretation centre, you will be told the story of this battle and you can also discover the life conditions of the soldiers at that time or participate in interactive and educational activities. On the site, you can admire the battlefield from the top of the viewpoint, look at the ancestral houses built on the site, or have a picnic with the entire family.
