To Enjoy Nature Only Steps Away From the City

Here, in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, only steps away from Montréal and the South Shore, time seems to stop. This national park is the ideal place where you can recharge your batteries and enjoy the best of nature. Come take advantage of the river during a canoe or kayak excursion. You can even rent your canoe or kayak on the premises.

Take advantage of the hiking and cycling paths, take the time to observe many bird, flower and plant species, or fish in the surrounding rivers. You can also have a picnic with your family on the numerous grassy areas or in the designated areas.

In winter, the backcountry skiing and snowshoeing paths invite you to discover the majestic winter wildlife and landscapes. You do not have the required equipment for these activities? You can rent the equipment or og on a hike along the designated hiking path. Whatever the activity you choose, you will have the opportunity to observe the brave birds that stay with us during the cold season.

Île Sainte-Marguerite Discovery and Visitor Centre:
Summer: every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Winter (from December 15, 2008 to March 31, 2009): from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
