Where Sunny Rhythms Gather!

From July 16 to 19, the International Percussion Festival of Longueuil and its spokesperson Luck Mervil invite you to a “Great gathering of sunny rhythms!” under the theme of Guadeloupe!

The International Percussion Festival is a cultural event for the whole family that will immerse festival-goers inside the fascinating world of percussions. This one-of-a-kind festival invites an audience of all ages to discover musical and multicoloured horizons. All forms of performances are on the program. Admission and activities are free of charge.

The Festival has four stages: Scène Loto-Québec, Scène Desjardins Journal de Montréal, Scène des découvertes and Scène des diversités. More than 500 artists offer a non-stop programme of shows on Saint-Charles Street in the heart of Old Longueuil. Luck Mervil will present the closing show on Saturday. A large gathering of participants is planned on Sunday afternoon after the carnivalesque parade. Costumes are put at the disposal of the festival-goers who wish to participate. A street comes to life with live entertainers and arts and crafts kiosks. Visitors will also be able to explore the sites dedicated to educational workshops on music, dance and a master class. Finally, Saturday and Sunday will be two thematic days for the whole family that will include attractions of all sorts.
