The Mondial des cidres de glace SAQ allows you to discover and appreciate different kinds of ice ciders that are made in Quebec. This is the only event that can gather so many producers in Quebec. Ice cider is a local product because of the unique climate of Quebec. In fact, rigorous winter temperatures cause the concentration of sugars that are used for making this kind of cider. Thanks to the presentations of agri-food producers, you will also have the chance to taste local products and you will learn more about this field through workshops and talks. Tasting packages are offered and products can be purchased on the site.
