An Important 19th-Century Defensive site

Enter Fort-Lennox and let yourself be taken back to the historic past of the region. This fort, built between 1819 and 1829, was intended to defend the region against any potential attack from the Americans coming by the Richelieu River. This beautiful piece of work from the British epoch bears an impressive architecture. Nowadays, it is still one of the most authentic British fortifications of the 19th century. Come take advantage of the guided tour during which an experienced guide will tell you about how life was back in the days. Every weekend in July and August, you can see a play with costumed guides.
