Randonnée Nature

Open from mid-May Through September

Gliding on Water!

Embark for a most-agreeable three-hour cruise among the islands of the Lake Saint-Pierre archipelago. This environment is protected by the Lac Saint-Pierre Biosphere Reserve, which numerous animal species have made their home. Wetlands such as this one are perfect for the observation of a large variety of species.

Climb aboard our boat that can welcome up to 12 passengers and glide on water to discover the ecosystems and their inhabitants. Your guide will give you information concerning the history of the islands, the animals and plants that live in these ecosystems, the tales and legends concerning this region as well as the human interventions and many other subjects. You will also have the chance to visit the new permanent exhibition “L’observatoire du lac Saint-Pierre” presented at Biophare.”

New in 2009 ! Randonnée nature also offers 1-hour historic cruises on the Richelieu River. It is a unique occasion to learn more about the history of the fourth oldest city in Quebec.
