The Sucrerie de la Montagne is on the Site du patrimoine québécois (Quebec's Heritage Site) register and was the first sugar shack to open year round in Quebec. This authentic sugar shack offers you to taste the delightful traditional meals inspired by the Quebec regional cuisine in a genuine folk atmosphere. Whatever the season, you can enjoy the taste of maple syrup and you can even celebrate Christmas or New Year's Eve at the sugar shack. For an authentic experience, you can rent one of the Maisonnettes d'Antan (small houses) to spend the night in a real wooden house with fireplace. A genuine experience!
