The village of Sainte-Anne-de-Sabrevois was officially founded in 1884, but as early as 1809, inhabitants were already established on its territory. Among these inhabitants were a number of immigrants from Belgium, Holland and France, but also from the United States.
The municipality developed thanks to the sawmill built in 1824 and that remained in function until 1845. The chapel built towards the end of the 19th century and dedicated to Saint Anne has been drawing visitors since 1931.
Throughout the years, the inhabitants of this municipality lived off agriculture as well as pig, bovine and milk cow breeding. Nowadays, you can also find the Vignoble des Pins, where you can make a guided tour of the vines and the wine cellar. Make sure you stop at the Ferme M. Reid, where you can pick your own raspberries and even your pumpkin for Halloween! Sainte-Anne-de-Sabrevois has everything to please visitors!
