Since 1987, the owners of the Cidrerie du Minot, Robert and Joelle Demoy, have been producing delicious ciders using the Breton tradition. This cider factory is located on a 52-hectare estate (128 acres) and 60 kilometres from Montréal. The soil and climate make it a place suitable for the growing of different varieties of apples, which are used in the making of quality ciders.
The ciders of the Cidrerie Minot are made on the premises, which guarantees the authenticity and quality of the ciders. The owners use a tradition that is several hundred years old as well as innovative techniques. During your visit, you can even see the ancient family cider press, which dates back to the 19th century.
Before you leave, make sure you stop at the boutique, where you can buy ice ciders, sparkling ciders, low-alcohol ciders, still ciders and aperitif ciders. Cheers!
